Thomas Jefferson Research Center seminars in Gori
On June 6th, Thomas Jefferson Research Center provided seminars in city Gori. Seminar Topics: ,,The Role of Security During Peace’’ provided by Elene Tedeluri and ,,A Hybrid War’’ provided by Mariam Bazerashvili was interesting for volunteers of Civic Activism Center, located nearby Welfare and Development Center. This Seminars was organised with the initiative of the Dimitri Gogiashvili head of Youth Affairs Department of Gori municipality. Founder of the Thomas Jefferson Research Center Tornike Shurghulaia took a floor for talk about Hybrid war and Global Security, Simon Gureshidze senior researcher of the Thomas Jefferson Center talked about strategic topics from middle east research field. The meeting directed very interactively. The arrangement was planned within ,,Tolerance, Civic Consciousness and Integration Support Program’’ [PITA], which is realized by United Nations Association of Georgia (UNAG), with the financial support of the US Agency for International Development (USAID).
