International Scientific Conference "Global Perspectives of One Belt One Road Initiative"
Open University in partnership with Lanzhou University, hosted international scientific conference "Global Perspectives of One Belt One Road Initiative.” Among the delegates were scientists and experts of highly ranked universities from more than 10 countries of Europe and Asia.
The guests who delivered the speeches at the opening ceremony included the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Georgia, the Vice-President of Lanzhou University Pan Baotian, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs David Dondua, Executive Director of the Partnership Fund, Davit Saganelidze, and Chairman of the Georgian Competition Agency Nodar Khaduri.
As two-day conference served as a platform for presentations, work sessions, meetings and various cultural events. The conference has been organized with the support of the Chinese Embassy in Georgia and Confucius Institute Class at Tbilisi Open University.
Tornike Shurgulaia, Professor of the Tbilisi Open University had conference speech on "One Belt One Road Security Issues and Challenges".
